This site is about minor bands from the sixties, seventies and the eighties. The music ranges from folk to country, classic rock to heavy metal and few that defy classification. They are from the era when records were the dominant audio medium and some of them can only be found on vinyl.

Most of the groups listed produced only a few albums and some have only a single album in their brief history. Others may have been around for years playing the local scene or touring with national groups but never reaching super star status. There are bands that where successful in other countries but did not reach stardom in the United States. They all shared the same goal, to be successful, but when fame and fortune eluded them they decided to call it quits.

A lot of good music has slipped into history and may have only been heard by a limited audience. This site is dedicated to those lesser know bands, their dreams and the music that they produced.

At this time I have only a few bands listed but I will be adding more bands and information as I find them. If you click on a bands album it will show a larger picture of the album and a list of the songs on that album.
